1984 Chevrolet Corvette

The 1984 Corvette was Motor Trend's car of the year, the two door coupe has a removable hardtop held on by four bolts and a storage slot for the top under the hatchback. The previous owner had the motor and transmission rebuilt, he did not have any documents but I've had it looked at by a mechanic and they agreed, also looking at the valves you can tell they are clean and new, as well, the automatic transmission looks to have been rebuilt and a shift kit added, it is a high performance motor/tranny setup. The information given to me by the previous owner on the motor and tranny was: Motor Rebuild: Jasper Performance Class I rebuild, which includes a mild camshaft upgrade providing about 10% more horsepower and torque over the standard stock engine. The camshaft included with the engine is a torque-economy type that provides better everyday performance than stock without sacrificing smooth idle and driveability. Transmission Rebuild: Previous owner had the transmission rebuilt and added an automatic transmission shift kit added to modify the trnamission's shift timing in order to dramatically increase shift firmness and durability of the transmission components, she catches second like a wild horse. With the motor and transmission rebuilt, we sought to upgrade/restore everything else. We spent a lot of great hours working together on this 'Vette and hope someone else will get as much enjoyment out of it as we have.
